Sally J. Jacobs is the McCormick/IHC Archivist at the Wisconsin Historical Society. Jim Allen is the author of International Scout Encyclopedia and many other books and magazine articles about off-road trucks and agricultural equipment.
Authors Marilyn McCray and Holly Dufek
Marilyn McCray is the author of Canning, Pickling and Freezing with Irma Harding. Holly Dufek is the author of the Casey and Friends line of children's books.
Signing the Book
One of the books was signed by several people key to its creation. From left to right, book designer Tom Heffron, print buyer Joe Sita, Matt Frey, who owns the first Axial-Flow combine sold which was photographed for the book's cover. His brother, Mike Frey, is at the far right.

More Signing
One of the guys--maybe Matt?--had everyone involved in creating the book sign his copy. This is Tom Heffron, who put in literally hundreds of hour designing the book. He's been at that full-time since the 1980s . . . we should ask him how many books he designed in total during his career!
