The Chicken Coop

Gordon Apker made his way in the world as one of the key executives at Shakey's Pizza, but he made his name by selling a 1954 Olds F-88 concept car at the Barrett-Jackson Auction for $3.24 million in 2004. His seven-acre place on the water near downtown Seattle was once a farm, and Apker has worked hard to retain it's rustic appearance. The 18,500-square-foot garage looks like nothing more than an old barn when you drive up, but has full-on dioramas and about 25 collectible cars inside. Apker calls it "The Chicken Coop."
