  • This 1944 H was restored by the South Plains Antique Tractor Association and raffled off in Fall 2009. The tractor consists of three different parts tractors, with the best pieces taken from each.

  • Ours is a 1959 Minneapolis Moline 5 Star Universal Diesel, Serial No. 14400930. 5 Stars were made in 1957, 1958 and 1959.  A total of 1,295 Universal Diesels were made.  This one is number 930. Diesels have a 336 cu.in. 4 cylinder engine producing 49 drawbar hp (according to Nebraska test).  Transmission has 5 forward speeds with Ampli-Torc (high-low shift on the go) providing a total of 10 forward speeds and 2 reverse speeds.
 
"Universal" is MM's name for row crop tractors.
