This 1944 H was restored by the South Plains Antique Tractor Association and raffled off in Fall 2009. The tractor consists of three different parts tractors, with the best pieces taken from each.

Ours is a 1959 Minneapolis Moline 5 Star Universal Diesel, Serial No. 14400930. 5 Stars were made in 1957, 1958 and 1959. A total of 1,295 Universal Diesels were made. This one is number 930. Diesels have a 336 cu.in. 4 cylinder engine producing 49 drawbar hp (according to Nebraska test). Transmission has 5 forward speeds with Ampli-Torc (high-low shift on the go) providing a total of 10 forward speeds and 2 reverse speeds. "Universal" is MM's name for row crop tractors.
